What is CrossFit?

Everyone is an athlete in the game of life and our training program is CrossFit.

CrossFit is a strength & conditioning program designed to increase the fitness level of ANY individual. It is fun, challenging and extremely effective. CrossFit is used by people just like you: parents, kids, grandparents, teachers, students, former athletes, military & service personnel, those who have been working out their entire lives and those who are brand new to the world of exercise.

CrossFit workouts are comprised of constantly varied, functional movements (like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running) executed at high intensity. At CrossFit SouthEnd, you will not find any machines – instead, you will find kettlebells, barbells, medicine balls, sleds, and tons of open space for running, jumping, climbing, lifting, and throwing. The workouts themselves are completely scalable, which means that a new participant and a CrossFit veteran can complete the same workout by changing the load and intensity.

Each CrossFit class is coached under the strict supervision of a CrossFit certified coach who makes sure that the workout is scaled to your appropriate fitness level. You will be instructed on how to perform every movement safely, efficiently and effectively. Our goal is to utilize a training regimen inside the gym to improve your life outside the gym!
